I have been into 3d world for 3 years mostly doing motion graphics with Maxon cinema 4d … i recently decided to get into 3d production… so i started leaning hard surface modeling… after that i jumped to character modeling… and this is my first complete character after some trials… Have also leaned the processes of UV mapping and 3d Body paint…All with Cinema 4d and Body paint 3d… This is the progress of what I have been doing for the past 2 weeks… I have started rigging my monkey man character… to be finished after a day or two…
I hope to get lots of feedback aiming on improving my journey to 3d animation…
Erick that`s a huge step towards improving your skills as an artist. Just as a Reminder, Plz make sure the anatomy is closely right. I`m saying this from experience now, When doing the alien i really didn't look much into getting the anatomy correct, and i have seen its downfalls when i was rigging and animating it. So plz, Anatomy.
ReplyDeleteP.s : I don`t mean that the anatomy of the model is incorrect...
OOOh tahnx man.. point taken. I sometimes tend to be slow when I dont understand things and I always fight to understand. I will nail the anatomy slowly, part by part. Dont forget to download the book I told you about "ANATOMY FOR SCULPTORS" by ULDIS ZARINS WITH SANDIS KONDRATS...
DeleteAwesome erick..i know and believe you go be one man army wa cinema4d hahah...

Good stuff bro.
ReplyDeleteWhat I'd change: I'd reduce the unnecessary poly count since they will increase your render time. Also post some rendered images with lights.
Over all, great work. Keep up good work.
